The 2012 Emiliani Beauty Expo, Runway V will include a special tribute to Vidal Sassoon. The Runway V theme of this year’s event is a nod to the five elements of the fashion world that come together in the professional salon industry: Hair Designers, Hair Colorists, Make-up Artists, Clothing Designers and Beauty Editors.
The two-day expo is designed for both working professionals and students in the beauty and fashion industries and will feature product exhibits, education and hands-on demonstrations and workshops with leading industry artists. Featured artists will include Phillip Wilson for ColorProof; Rocky Vitelli, Leonel Rodriguez and Anna Cantu for Farouk; Tina Crenshaw and Boyd Parris for Framesi; Damien Carney and Shannon Simmonds for Joico; Leeanne Shade and Lenny Strand for Logics; Ammon Carver and Daniel Roldan for Matrix; Scott Cole, Linda Yodice, Jennifer Sparveri and Noogie Thai for Paul Mitchell; Faye Judson and Ian Browning for Sexy Hair; Patrick McIvor; and Michael O’Rourke of Rock Your Hair.
The Expo will kick off with an opening night gala that will feature a runway show on all main stages honoring Vidal Sassoon with special guest Élan Sassoon. Guests can mingle with industry artists at a red carpet cocktail reception and get a preview of the show floor.
Top salons and fashion designers will collaborate on stage both days in a runway event that will feature Elisa Jimenez from Project Runway and a roster of fashion designers.
