Scholarship Program Taps Passionate Future Pros
Each year, Rosy Salon Software funds scholarships for first-time cosmetology student scholarships through its Rosy Rewards. This is part of our Giving Guide series.

Rosy Salon Software is now in its seventh year of helping hopeful cosmetology students realize their passion of becoming beauty professionals. Providing funds to help cover a portion of their tuition, the Rosy Rewards Scholarship Program carries out the company's belief that there is no better way to give back to the beauty industry than by helping to build the next generation of salon pros.
“Since we kicked off the Rosy Rewards scholarship program in 2016, our company has proudly donated nearly $60,000 in scholarships to first-time cosmetology, barber, and esthetics students throughout North America,” says Rosy Salon Software President Jason Foodman. “We see it as both our honor and our duty to ensure the vitality and sustainability of the professional salon industry. Helping future salon professionals, in our mind, is the best way to do just that.”
Scholarship Details
To apply for Rosy Rewards, you must:
Be currently enrolled in a cosmetology, barber, or esthetics program in the US or Canada resulting in a cosmetology, barber, or esthetics license. Continuing education programs or students with an existing license do not qualify.
Submit a Letter of Recommendation written by an instructor or employer to vouch for your high potential.
Submit a résumé highlighting your skills, your experience, and what sets you apart.
Submit two of your best pics to show off your skills.
The next deadline to apply for Rosy Rewards is October 1, 2022. Funds are sent directly to the winners’ schools to be used toward their tuition.
