Sebastian Professional is partnering with fashion designer Mara Hoffman to create its next limited-edition designer gift set. Hoffman designed a printed scarf using the bold colors and graphic prints that have made her a celebrity favorite for Sebastian’s Brazilian-inspired spring promotion. The scarf will be packaged with Sebastian Professional Volupt Shampoo and Conditioner and sold in a gift set exclusively available at Sebastian salons for $25 beginning April 2013.

The gift set complements Sebastian’s new ‘Urban Explorers’ hair fashion collection, which features hairstyling looks and techniques inspired by the great fashion capitols of the world. Hoffman’s colorful  scarf design, modeled after her spring 2013 collection, celebrates the spirit of São Paolo, Brazil, one of the four cities that inspired the looks in Sebastian’s Urban Explorers trend collection.

“This scarf is great for its versatility; it can be worn in multiple ways and is a fun way to incorporate a great print into any outfit,” says Hoffman.

Sebastian Professional lead hair stylist Thomas Dunkin uses the scarf as a styling accessory. “This print is bold, beautiful and inspiring. Combine this with braids for a cool urban look or leave hair down and very natural, and tie the scarf in a bow at the crown for a more 50’s vibe”, says Dunkin. The scarf and product gift set includes more step-by-step styling tricks from Dunkin.

Sebastian Professional and Mara Hoffman’s fashion and beauty partnership began at Spring 2013 New York Fashion Week, where the hair team, led by  Dunkin, created crimped, textured looks for Hoffman’s runway models. VisitSebastianprofessional.com.
