On January 22nd, Sexy Hair kicked off its 2013 Sexy Hair International Conference offering attendees from around the world the ability to learn from company insiders. More than 800 educators, distributors and industry leaders attended this year’s conference which was based around the theme “Experience: The Versatility of Sexy Hair.” The conference’s theme reflected the company’s adaptability in addition to showcasing the versatility of its products, haircut collection and styling techniques. On the 26th, a General Session was held which integrated a first look at the company advertising campaign, education, marketing and public relations initiatives in addition to informing attendees about the company’s past successes and future goals.
“Sexy Hair experienced another highly successful year with record sales,” said Karl Heinz Pitsch, president and CEO. “There were several key elements that lead to our success in 2012 including heightened investment in education, highly successful new product launches in addition to our extensive international expansion into 15 new countries making Sexy Hair present in more than 45 countries worldwide.”
“We are excited with our plans for 2013 which will focus on increasing consumer awareness for our brand through both traditional channels but also new mediums such as online,” added Pitsch. “Overall, we eager to see how our new strategic alliances will help us create cachet for our brand and help us connect and engage with our consumers.”
As part of the daylong event, a special awards program was held which recognized several top Sexy Hair educators for their outstanding service in the field in addition to awarding a dozen national and international Distribution Partners for their excellent work and exceptional service on behalf of Sexy Hair. Lastly, guests were invited to attend the company’s highly exclusive Red Party following the General Session, where they were encouraged to “Show Their Sexy Style” by wearing a splash of red.
Sexy Hair officials were also on hand to present representatives from its philanthropic partner Look Good Feel Better (LGFB), a check for $175,000. The amount was raised through various corporate activities including proceeds from sales, a cut-a-thon, warehouse sale and staff charity walk. Overall, Sexy Hair has raised more than half a million dollars for LGFB over the three year partnership. Guests were invited to indulge on delectable culinary delights, sip delicious Sexy Hair inspired cocktails while dancing the night away to the latest in dance music.
