Macadamia Professionalannounced that Shannon Aceman has joined the team as Director of Business Development, Canada. She brings over 20 years of sales, business development and leadership experience in both the professional and retail beauty arenas.
Aceman began her career as Account Executive with Aveda, then joined Monarch Beauty Supply as Western Regional Sales Manager. She gained prestige retail and national account management exposure working with Estee Lauder and overseeing their department store business in Western Canada. In 2003, she joined CND as a Canadian Regional Manager and worked to expand the brand’s Canadian distribution before moving in to a Business Development Manager role overseeing key accounts and independent distributors in both the US and Canada.
Most recently, she was a National Account Manager with Sexy Hair Concepts and worked with BSG’s Direct Beauty Express division servicing national and franchise chain accounts in North America.
Aceman will work closely with the sales team to bring new products to Canadian distributors. In her free time Aceman is a student of vinyasa flow yoga and tennis. She enjoys traveling and is a wine aficionado.
