Matte's the Thing
OPI has taken six of its most popular shades and released them in the very hot and trendy new matte finish. The impact is straight from the fashion runway and the look is new, edgy and confident. A few caveats: OPI Matte does not wear as long as original OPI lacquer and clients should not use base coat, top coat, drying drops or hand lotion with these lacquers.
"You can do a matte nail with a matching gloss tip, or a gloss nail with a matte edge. It's like mixing different textures of the same color in an outfit," says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and artistic director. OPI Matte shades are available in Alpine Snow, Russian Navy, La Paz-itively Hot, You Don't Know Jacques, Lincoln Park After Dark and Gargantuan Green Grape. Visit opi.com.
