Independent beauty professionals are invited to attend the virtual education event on September 27 featuring the industry’s best.

Sola Salons, the world’s largest community of independent beauty professionals, announced that it will host its proprietary education event, The Sola Sessions Reimagined, on September 27 and is inviting beauty professionals to attend the virtual experience. The Sola Sessions will be filled with inspirational and educational sessions from the industry’s top business, marketing and artistic educators to help independent beauty professionals create the salon life of their dreams.
There will be a lineup of top industry leaders and educators — Sonya Dove, Ruth Roche, Justin Isaac, John Mosely, Nina Kovner, Nina Tulio — sharing their insight and experiences for attendees. This must-attend experience will begin at 11 a.m. EST on September 27.
Topics that will be covered include hair color and styling, barbering, texture, budgeting and finance, burnout and boundaries, retailing, social media and marketing, and much more. For the second year in a row, Sola is expanding its audience to the general public to share the experience with all independent beauty professionals, and to deliver education and inspiration from the industry’s best.
In addition to the 2021 Sola Session event, The Faces of Sola Experience will be held September 26-29. The 2021 Faces of Sola stylists will be announced prior to the experience via social media and during the September 27th Sola Sessions Reimagined event. The Faces of Sola Experience will be in-person for the 15 selected stylists. Launched in 2015, this program set out with a vision to bring together independent beauty professionals from across the country to share their personal stories and wisdom as beauty professionals, entrepreneurs, go-getters, givers, working parents, philanthropists, artists, educators, and people on a mission to change the world.
“We are beyond excited to welcome back our valued Sola family at The Sola Sessions,” says Jennie Wolff, Chief Marketing Officer of Sola Salons. “The pandemic has changed our industry as we know it and we want to equip our independent beauty professionals with the proper resources and knowledge needed to navigate this ever-changing landscape. After such a tough year, it is an absolute honor to recognize our newest Faces of Sola who will continue to inspire and educate us, and uplift and enrich their communities from the inside out. At The Sola Sessions 2021 event, we ultimately hope to nurture our existing relationships within the Sola community, while embracing new opportunities with brands and educators in the industry in order to flourish and succeed together.”
The event is sponsored by BeautyHive, an online distributor created just for independent beauty professionals, along with Matrix, Wella, and a number of other leading beauty brands, such as Redken, Pravana, SalonScale, Image Skincare, Pulp Riot, Schwarzkopf Professional, Olaplex, Popular Nobody, Passion Squared, Nina Tulio, Sexy Hair, iEnvy, and GlossGenius. Attendees will have the chance to connect with sponsoring brands to learn more about their offerings.
The 2021 event marks the 13th Sola Sessions event hosted by the Sola brand. Tickets are $59 for the general public, $29 for Sola professionals with a Sola-exclusive promo code, and can be purchased now by clicking here. On-demand access to all education segments will be available to ticket holders until the end of 2021
