Sport Clips Haircuts, a franchise focusing on men's and boy's haircuts and styling, announces the appointment of Scott Kelly to the new position of Vice President of Information Technology. Kelly has 20 years of experience in the IT industry, with seven years focus in the franchise industry.

 “We have one of the fastest-growing franchise businesses in the country.  Through this new leadership position, Scott will help us move our technology forward, and plan strategically, with the continued goal of providing an exceptional Client and Team Member experience,” says Sport Clips founder and CEO Gordon Logan. “Overall, we are expanding our entire Support Team capabilities, increasing our IT budget by over 80 percent and adding 20 new positions to our support team in the year ahead.”

Kelly comes to Sport Clips from Mr. Gatti’s L.P. and previously worked for U.S.A. Managed Care, Symtx, CommuniCare Health Services, Limited Brands and was EncompassIT’s principal partner.  “I am excited to be a part of a brand that is recognized as an industry leader and look forward to leveraging technology to help grow the brand,” he says.

Kelly, who has been a proud Texan for 13 years, was born in Minnesota, reared in Florida and is a graduate of The Ohio State University.  He and his wife, Katerina, have two children.
