Montreal salon owner, educator and editorial stylist Stéphane Legros has joined the Sam Villa ArTeam.
Legros owns Cheveux le Salon and is passionate about involving guests in the creative process and education. "During a consultation, it's important to review past services and decide where to go from there," Legros says.
"Each time you sit down for a consultation, it should be like the first time, a fresh start, because fashion, lifestyles and seasons change, and that can have a dramatic effect on hair."
The North American Hairstyling Awards has given Legros international recognition as the 2004 Avant Garde Hairstylist of the Year.
"Hairstyling is a way to visually express," Legros says. "It allows us to communicate and reinvent ourselves to stay novel."
Villa says Legros makes a great addition to the team, and he will be playing an instrumental part in the creative direction for the brand.
