552 licensed cosmetologists from Illinois to Colorado crowded inside of the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, IA, to set a new Guinness World Record for the most people cutting hair simultaneously. As part of Peel's annual spring trade show, the attempt was a success! Each stylist was required to do 15 minutes of non-stop hair cutting along with the other stylists.
Approximately 6,000 hairdressers and 250 vendors displaying hair care, salon and beauty products gathered for the trade show. World-renowned stylist, Phillip Wilson, one of the most influential hairstylists in the past 100 years, also participated in the event.
