Surface hair care recently partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project in Los Angeles, CA, at a pre-Emmy's event, styling both celebrities and Wounded Warriors in an on-site mini Suface Salon. The Surface stylists on location were all military wives and made a statement by wearing custom created t-shirts with the Surface Tree of Life logo on the front and their respective husband's military insignia on the back.

 Celebrities at the event included: Dean Norris (Breaking Bad), Aaron Quintin (The Blind Side), Joely Fisher (Desperate Housewives), Erin Cahill (Red Widow), Model Zena Foster and singer Judith Hill (The Voice).
