After walking over cobbled streets and through an ancient archway, we found the spa connected to the hotel through an original tunnel connecting the ancient and historic building to the hotel.
There are multiple highlights in this 13th Century former Dominican monastery including the entrance, set in the nave of this former Renaissance chapel, the seven treatment rooms, the vaulted ceilings and archways and original stairwells and doors. Each morning a yoga class is held on the glass floored encasing illuminated remnants of the onetime gothic church which was uncovered during reconstruction.
