L'Oréal Professionnel hosted its third annual Artist Foundation in San Diego in February 2014.
The event lasted three days and started with 600 attendees experiencing energy and emotion from performers, dancers and models with hair styles inspired by art. The next two days of the event included hands-on cut, color and styling classes.
A featured, hands-on presentation for the event, Eyes Wide Open, took inspiration from fashion, music, street art and celebrity style.
"From the thrilling vibrancy of street art to poise and precision of a couture show, there is much to be gained by embracing the culture of our time and keeping our eyes open to all that surrounds us," says Suzanne Sturm, vice president of L'Oréal Professionnel education.
