IGK introduced its new line of color depositing masks, a range of semi-permanent, color-depositing hair masks made with pigments that fade over time for zero commitment. This formula is designed to enhance color intensity, dimension, and shine, while providing color protection, hydration, softness, and smoothness, all in one formula.
These color-rich masks are perfect for clients who want to tip-toe into a TikTok trend and play with trending hair color like an all-over, summery Strawberry Blonde or to experiment with high-contrast color or show their PRIDE with a mix of shades.
"Red and pink hair are somewhat high-maintenance colors because they can lose vibrance very easily," says IGK Co-founder and Colorist, Chase Kusero. "For clients who want to play with their color without commitment, IGK’s NEW Color Depositing Masks are perfect for someone who wants to refresh, or add a temporary pop of color to their hair."
For a Strawberry Blonde, Kusero points out the pretty results achieved with Strawberry Milkshake or Pink 2000. "You can also mix and match the shades for a custom hue."
18 signature shades offer sheer to intense coverage, from natural to fun color hues, all formulated without gluten, parabens, sulfates, or ammonia. Color lasts up to 10 washes, depending on shade and application, fading naturally with each wash. Plus, shades can be cocktailed together to create a unique and customized hue. The genderless formula can also be used on any hair length or type and is easy-to-use for everyone – from those who have never experimented with color, to those who do all the time.

How To: Apply generously to clean hair and distribute evenly. Leave on for 1-5 minutes on wet hair for a sheer color effect, or 10-15 minutes on dry hair for an intense color effect. Rinse thoroughly.
Pro Tips: Use gloves if concerned about staining hands. Use a wide-tooth comb to ensure hair is thoroughly saturated and pigmentation is uniform. Create an ombre or dip-dye effect by applying color to specific sections where color is desired. Or cocktail two shades for a customized hue.
