A change in seasons means making small changes in your clients' beauty routines. Winter calls for extra skincare T.L.C. as a result of the cool, dry air that is dehydrating to skin.

In addition to all the woes winter can bring to your clients' skin, dullness comes as a result too. Products that work to brighten skintone add a burst of radiance to an otherwise gloomy season.

Decleor's Aurabsolu line calls itself a "skin awakening range," including Intense Glow Awakening Cream moisturizer, Intense Glow for Eyes under-eye cream and Refreshing Mist, which doubles as a makeup setting spray. Although good for any season, this 3-product line puts life back into dull winter skin and leaves it looking awake, dewy and glowing.

Jasmine Absolute is the key active ingredient of this collection. Jaklin Idris, director of education for Decleor, says that jasmine benefits skin by doing the following:

  • It is anti-inflammatory and antioxidant

  • Balances skintone

  • Protects against environmental factors

  • Plumps skin

  • Fades dark shadows and under eyes

Other active ingredients in the range include samphine extract, which limits dark patches and regulates inflammation and redness; and orange pigments and flavonoids from bitter orange, which provide powerful antioxidants and broad spectrum action, a highlighter effect for complexion, and protect against free radicals.
