Featuring predictive technology, the new Ghd Platinum+ predicts personal hair needs and constantly adapts to ensure the perfect styling temperature is delivered for your client's individual hair type at all times. The new technology was created by Ghd's scientists over five years and is designed to have homogeneous heat across the entire straightener plate. This design allows for more consistent results in one stroke.
Ghd says the heat is monitored 250 times per second to maintain a temperature of 365 degrees Fahrenheit. The predictive technology recognizes the thickness of the hair, section size and speed at which you are styling. From there, it adjusts the power.
The straightener features precision-milled plates with ultra gloss coating for frizz-free styling and 20% more shine. There is also a sleep mode, which turns the straightener off if it is not used for 30 minutes. Ghd has made traveling with the iron easier by including a protective plate guard, universal voltage and a 9-foot cord.
