To showcase fashion silhouettes, runways tend to feature hair that is up, and off the face and neck. Inspired by the concept, Redken Education Artistic Director Sam Villa took up and off to another level.
The 2012 Urban Art Collection, assembled by the Matrix Artistic Directors, showcases looks expressed through a variety of grand, bold and very public media, taking root on city streets in open display.
Padgett applied Aquage Beyond Body thermal styling spray to both sides of model Diana’s straight, thick hair. She then set the look, alternately using a conical iron and a flatiron curling technique to generate a loose or “collapsed” curl pattern.
