Platinum Seamless believes hair extensions today are what haircolor was to the beauty industry in the 1960s. Extensions have gone from being worn only by celebrities as recently as 10 years ago to becoming the go-to hair enhancement for women today. The Platinum Seamless mission is to provide the bridge between the hair loss problem and the hair extension solution, creating safe, versatile, high-quality and natural-looking hair extensions.

"We believe hair extensions today are what haircolor was to the beauty industry in the 1960s. Our goal is to truly redefine the hair extension market and the women who wear them!"

How did Platinum Seamless get its start?
In 2007, Lisa Kenna launched Platinum Seamless. Kenna was inspired by her personal experiences and needs to develop a better hair extension product. Having naturally thin/fine hair, she always dreamed of thicker, fuller, longer and more beautiful locks, but she was ultimately disappointed with the various hair products on the market. She set out to create her own hair-extension system that could provide high-quality, safe, individualized results for every woman.
Platinum Seamless was designed to be a safe, simple and undetectable solution for any client. Kenna understood that everybody’s hair is different and that attachment methods should be, too. Platinum Seamless created the solution between those who need hair extensions and those who simply want them.
How does Platinum Seamless help salons drive revenue?
By adding Platinum Seamless extensions to a salon’s service menu, a new stream of revenue is created. We teach salons and stylists how to turn any client into an extension client, no matter what service was initially scheduled. By placing a few extensions into a client’s hair during their regular appointment, they will be hooked and will inevitably come back for more. Our light and dark multi packs, consisting of our 10 most popular shades, make this process easier by providing an affordable, instant inventory. Additionally, we provide monthly promotions along with a variety of print and digital marketing material to assist salons in promoting extension services. We also promote our salons/stylists on social media and our website. Our salon finder tool allows us to endorse Platinum Seamless salons, resulting in increased clientele.
What demographic does Platinum Seamless best serve?
Platinum Seamless is used worldwide by people in every demographic category, every age group and with every hair type. Today’s clients want the flexibility to enhance their style quickly, affordably, and effectively. The salons that have the most success do not always think of extensions as a full-head application; they also promote the product as a simple fix for volume, length and/or color. No matter the client’s lifestyle, hair type or budget, by changing the way you think about extensions, any client can be a Platinum Seamless client.
What education does Platinum Seamless provide?
Platinum Seamless is a complete system that supports a variety of application techniques. To become fully certified in all 10 customized methods of attachment, we send a Platinum Seamless educator to you for a full-day class, or we customize certification to each salon or stylist’s needs. For those who prefer to become certified in the basic sandwich method only, we also offer a fast-track option. Our online certification will be launching soon. With any full Platinum Seamless certification, we teach placement partings, color matching, cutting and blending, removal, haircare and maintenance.
