A.P.O.H.: A Collection by Antoinette Beenders and X-Presion for Aveda

Aveda is thrilled to share with you their newest collection from SVP, Aveda Global Artistry, and Antoinette Beenders (@antoinettebeenders) in collaboration with X-Presion (@xpresioncreativos) for Aveda.

A.P.O.H. (A Piece of Hair) is a groundbreaking collection that took inspiration from a Japanese fashion designer known as a pioneer of fabric technology. The collection explores the artistic use of “a piece of hair” as the medium or fabric. Each look is designed for the human head and the shape the hair itself creates as it moves in three dimensions.

“The hair creates a sensory experience of fluidity and modernity as it moves,” said Beenders, “in this way we have evoked and brought the hair to life with the graceful movement of dancers.”

And, true to the Aveda mission, these looks incorporate hair that has been reused and given new life using 100% vegan Aveda Hair Color along with bond-building Botanical Repair. Truly, the collection honors “a piece of hair” by treating it with the utmost respect.
