Trevor Attenborough, Vice President, Salon Commercial, Kao Salon Americas Division, announced the promotion of Andrea DeLeonto General Manager of the Kao Salon US business. In her new role, DeLeon will lead the Kao Salon US sales, marketing, and education teams to accelerate growth and business performance in a vital market for the global brand.
“Andrea is one of the most experienced and respected members of our US organization, with an extraordinary track record of orchestrating strategic wins and generating new growth for the business,” said Attenborough. “There is no one better to energize our US Salon business to reach our ambitious goals, and I am delighted that work is in her capable hands.”
DeLeon brings extensive leadership, management, and sector experience to this role, both within and outside the salon industry. She joined Kao USA in 2005 and since 2019 has served as Division Vice President, Commercial Marketing and Commercial Strategy and Planning for Salon Americas. As Division Vice President, she led a comprehensive set of workstreams to fuel the success of Kao Salon brands across the Americas region, steering marketing, commercial strategy, and planning initiatives.
Her background also includes significant experience in global marketing, sales development, key customer marketing, and guiding organizational change and market expansion projects.
Prior to joining Kao USA, she held positions of increasing responsibility — including as Marketing Director — at DAP, Inc.
DeLeon received a B.S. in Business from Northern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management in Glendale, AZ.
