With the wide array of flat irons, curling irons, wands and hot appliances available on the market, a user’s greatest fear is getting burned.

If you have purchased a curling wand or other hot tools, chances are they incude a heat-resistant glove to effectively help your fingers from geting burned. However, some stylists (you may be one of them) don't like having a full glove to protect their hand as it restricts the hand.

This is why Jatai International has introduced Heat Shields. Heat Shields are an easy way for hairstylists to protect their fingers from cuts and burns. These can be used by hairdresser’s clients or anyone who handles hot objects such as wands, curling irons, flat irons and more. They can also be used by people who want to protect their fingers from cuts or protect prior cuts and burns. In this sense they act as a bandage.

The Heat Shield package consists of a thumb and index finger Heat Shield which should be worn on the opposite hand holding the tool. You can also move the shields to different fingers depending on your needs. They are latex-free and are water, heat and cut resistant. They stretch and stay snug all day. They are also machine washable and can be washed several times without losing elasticity. Heat Shields come in sizes small/medium and medium/large.
