Cincinnati Hair Artist, Bianca Rose (@hairbybiancarose), calls this color “Phoenix Rising.” We call it fire, fabulous, and so fun... and we wanted the formula

“This process took about 5 hours, from start to finish--keep that in mind when you’re asking for fantasy colors!"  she says. "My client had a mix of pre-lightened hair in the front as well as her natural so this made the lightening process both easy and challenging.”

STEP ONE:

“I first isolated the natural color and decolorized with Fanola Oro Therapy Powder Lightener with 20 volume, staying slightly away from the scalp.

STEP TWO:

“Then I went back through once it reached a level 8-9 and saturated the scalp and remaining pieces.

STEP THREE:

“Pre-toned with Fanola No Orange Shampoo and towel tried.

STEP FOUR:

“Then I applied a custom mix of formulas for my direct dyes in deep purple 💜rouge pink 💗and neon orange 🍊Brazilian Bond Builder included in all formulas.

STEP FIVE:

“I like applying on towel dried hair because the cuticle is open and I like the slip of the hair when applying. Rinsed after 25 minutes and styled.”
