“Natural hair with substantive texture offers endless opportunities to excel as a hairdresser. However, it’s easy to revert to standard techniques that may not yield the best results for these hair types,” says Don Haidl, Founder and Lead Creative of hybrideducation.co. “With this collection, we wanted to introduce content that would give our subscribers the tools to attract a more diverse clientele as ongoing education only becomes profitable with tangible results.”
The inspiration for this collection stems from fashion designer, Rudi Gernreich’s bold, bright and spirited swimsuit designs that challenged 1950s modesty. His coquettish interpretation of how fashion should follow the natural female form has been modernized and channeled into this collection with its lighthearted styling and movement within the hair.
