Annastasia Konidaris of the Michael Angelo Wonderland Beauty Parlour in NYC is loving Brigitte Bardot finishes this season. In this video, she uses the new Amika Obliphica Blow Up Spray as a prep on wet hair to get the maximum lift needed for the look. "I love this new product," she says about the spray. "It allows me to create this timeless look. It's my new fave, go-to spray."

To create the finish, Konidaris sections the hair from temple to temple along the mohawk. She takes 2 - 3 inch long sections in about 1/2 inch partings and pulls up from the head. To get maximum cushioning, she uses a ten stroke technique. "First I do 5 short strokes at the base," she says, "and then go to the ends of the hair with five more strokes." Once all the hair has been teased, she gently brushes over the surface and smooths in to place.

"It creates a gorgeous 60's inspired look," says Konidaris. "It looks great on just about everyone."
