Curl Cult Launches Community Investment Round, Inviting Stylists and Clients to Become Owners
Curl Cult founder Janine Jarman, a hairstylist, salon owner, educator, and product creator, is opening a community investment round that gives hairdressers and clients the opportunity to own a stake in the company they helped grow.
At a time when beauty brands are often built for professionals but owned by outside investors, brand founder Janine Jarman's decision reflects Curl Cult’s community-first philosophy and offers a rare chance for beauty professionals to participate in the future success of a brand created specifically to serve them.
Curl Cult, the science-backed, USPTO-patented texture system (United States Patent and Trademark Office) built by hairdressers for textured hair, today announced the launch of its community investment round inviting hairdressers and Curl Cult clients to own a stake in the brand they helped build.

Founded by working hairstylist, salon owner, and educator Janine Jarman, Curl Cult was created to modernize texture services with a complete system: patented chemistry, free stylist certification, and education designed to deliver consistent results behind the chair.
“Curl Cult has always been about community,” said Janine Jarman, Founder of Curl Cult. “This raise is a way for the people who helped build Curl Cult to own a piece of what we’re building next.”
To date, Curl Cult has certified more than 3,000 stylists and continues to expand access to modern texture services and clean, vegan retail products. Proceeds from the round will support expanded distribution, supply chain reinforcement, new product development, and increased education and marketing efforts.
Minimum investment starts at $100. The round will remain open for three months. Learn more at investcurlcult.com or https://wefunder.com/curl.cult.inc.
