Celebrity stylist Johnny Lavoy created the finished look for Miranda Lambert, who took home the Female Vocalist of the Year award (among others). To recreate Lambert’s country glam style, Pureology Artistic Ambassador Sandra Joseph says to layer two pumps of Bodifying Luminator with one pump of Gold Definer before blow-drying hair with a medium round brush. Using a ¾-inch iron, curl hair and pin to cool. Take out clips, create a side part and brush with a soft, boar bristle brush. Smooth right side behind the ear and secure with pins. Finish by piecing remaining locks with Density Definer.

Voluptious Curls- Chaley Rose

“Chaley has naturally curly hair, so it is much easier to achieve this look if your client has naturally curly or coarse hair that easily holds a style,” says Moroccanoil Creative Design Team Educator Kevin Hughes. Start by cleansing and conditioning the hair with a frizz-fighting product like Moroccanoil’s Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. Apply Moroccanoil Treatment and Smoothing Lotion to damp hair from roots to ends. Detangle with a large-tooth comb and diffuse to help keep curls intact. Once dry, use a small curling iron to redefine strands that have become frizzy or flat.

Sophisticated Waves- Carrie Underwood

“Soft waves can never go wrong,” says Celebrity stylist George Papanikolas. To get Underwood’s look, apply Matrix’s Biolage Thermal-Active Repair Gloss to damp hair and section for control. Starting at the nape, use a round brush and blowdry entire head using vertical sub-sections. Re-section hair and apply Thermal-Active Setting Spray from mid-lengths to ends. Using two-inch wide vertical sub-sections, hold Marcel iron vertically, curl from mid-lengths to ends and secure with pin. Allow to cool, release and use a cushion brush to encourage the waves. Lock in style with Biolage Complete Control.
