Carolyn Cina (@carolynrosecina), a hairdresser in New York, performed a beautiful color correction working with Paul Mitchellhair color. She returned her client to a 'better than natural' warm brunette color.

STEP ONE: "I went in with a clarifying shampoo to remove the rest of the purple that was left in the hair.

STEP TWO: "After clarifying I went in and repigmented the hair. I used a 7wb of Paul Mitchell the Color with 10 volume developer on damp hair to repigment. I used this to add warmth back into the hair without having too much of an orange undertone.

STEP THREE: "I left this on for about 15 minutes and then washed the hair and quick-dried it.

STEP FOUR: "For the guests regrowth I used a 6NN of Paul Mitchell the color, for the repigmented hair I used 2 1/2 oz. of 6N  with 1/2 oz 7rb Paul Mitchell the color.

"I melted the 6NN from her regrowth down to create a seamless blend!"
