Nicole DeStefano (@beautyhivebynicole) of the Beauty Hive Salon in Trophy Club,TX has created a sophisticated unicorn, with Joico Metallics keeping the look both on-trend and incredibly wearable.
Starting level: "Her hair started off with a partial foil from another stylist, it was lifted to about a level 9."
STEP ONE:Sectioned her hair off in 4 quadrants and mixed Joico Intensities Moonstone and Black Pearl to create a deep blue base at her root. I did a normal root application and combed the color down to blend.
STEP TWO: After the root application was applied I started at her nape and began blending Joico Violet into the blue base then at the tips of her hair I blended Joico Mauve Quartz into the violet. I applied foils between sections to keep everything clean.
PROCESS: She processed for 25 minutes without heat and we rinsed with cool water and conditioned with Triple RX conditioner by Amika.
STYLE:Styling her with the Wizard by Amika to add shine and cut down on dry time. And applied Bombshell by Amika at the root to create volume with our blowdry.
