Design Matters by Luis Alvarez and the Aquage Team

Shortly after shooting the imagery for America’s Beauty Show at McCormick Place in Chicago, the inspired Aquage team began a national six-city tour to officially launch and promote its new line, Biomega. Styles were strongly influenced by the architecture and art in each city, while the wardrobe was inspired by the Biomega products. Straying from Aquage’s signature blue shade, VP of Creative Luis Alvarez chose colorful, vintage Thierry Mugler suits to complement the locations and hair designs. This was the first editorial shoot where styles were created using the variable-hold system of Biomega styling and texturizing products: Behave, Text Me and Shake It!
