We love using the newly launched social media site to "repin" hair styles, nail designs, fashion, salon decor ideas, and all things beauty. Recently, we came across this braid on Pinterest—which was originally pinned from weheartit.com.

When we repinned it on Pinterest, and shared it on Facebook, our fans went WILD! This look was one of our top "talked about" posts ever. It reached 1,748 "likes," hundreds of shares and nearly 300 comments in about an HOUR. AN HOUR!
Marci from 1033 Main Salon and Spa in Mumford, New York, recreated the draped french braid ponytail seen on pinterest.com/modernsalon and facebook.com/modernsalon.
Though we were able to see how the braid was constructed, we didn't feel confident enough to explain how to do it. So, we turned to you, the experts, with a challenge to recreate the look. Marci, from 1033 Main Salon and Spa in Mumford, New York, not only did so, but provided a step-by-step video on how to achieve it. Watch her video below to see her in action.
