STMNT Grooming Expands into Shave Care
STMNT Grooming Goods is expanding into the shave care category with three new additions to its lineup.
Jon Reyman, Jonny Cota (of Skingraft) and Maggie Mulhern chat about the importance of hair and the collaboration between the artists for a fashion show.

Jonny Cota of Skingraft is one of the hottest designers today. His fashions have been seen on some of the highest profile celebrities including Rhianna, Adam Lambert, Lindsay Lohan and even Justin Bieber (a big fan who wears Skingraft to perform AND on his way to court appearances).
Jon Reyman is one of the hottest hairdressers today. He is one of the most requested leads for fashion week, a top editorial stylist, an international platform artist, and has been published in all the top consumer and trade magazines. He is also the creator and founder of JonReymanPro.com, the intense video training series for salon professionals.
As MODERN's Beauty and Fashion Director, I get to cover New York Fashion Week, attending dozens of shows each season, both front and back of house. This past week I went to more than 50 different shows/events/backstages and proudly have the blisters to prove it.
There were many highlights for the fall/winter 2014 collections, but one of the best was the invite to Skingraft. It was the first time the designer was putting on a show under the Mercedes Benz tents in Lincoln Center...the premiere venue for all NY fashion shows. This is a BIG DEAL.
So imagine my surprise when I stopped by to see that both Reyman and Cota were just kind of chill and relaxed just 30 minutes before show time! They came over to me and agreed to chat about the importance of the collaborative efforts between the designer and hair lead. (FYI...static is in). It is a great 4 minute interview and worth your time....
It also appeared to be worth the time for the top ABC network show NIGHTLINE that grabbed a snapshot of our interview in their coverage of fashion week, Cota and Skingraft. (I found it the hard/most interesting way...while watching TV last night...I can't wait to tell Jon Reyman!)
Check out the interview in the video below. These are the coolest guys EVER.
