Although the 2015 Golden Globes featured many twists on classic looks and demure nude lips, Boyhood star Lorelei Linklater's magenta ombre is 100-percent modern. The old-Hollywood waves were fabulous, but we appreciated Linklater's fresh, eye-catching locks in contrast.

GET THE COLOR: MAGENTA OMBRE

Formula 1: Pravana Vivids Violet + Wild Orchid
Formula 2: Equal parts Pravana Vivids Red + Magenta

STEP 1: Pre-lighten ends at a level 8 in ombre pattern with Pravana Pure Light Power Lightener and your choice of developer.

STEP 2: Shampoo and condition with Pravana Nevo shampoo and conditioner.

STEP 3: Dry hair completely.

STEP 4: Apply formula 1 and formula 2 to alternating strands with a much heavier emphasis of formula 2.

STEP 5: Process 20-30 minutes at room temperature.

STEP 6: Shampoo, condition and lock in color with Pravana Vivids Color Protect Shampoo, Conditioner and Sealing Spray.

STEP 7: Style as desired.
