Hair was put into small ponytails all over the head and Hairdreams extensions were added and razored down to three inches. Each section was misted with hairspray and then crimped at the base, to give the tufts more volume.

Sonya Dove is most known as a highly sought-after educator, talented colorist, Hairdreams hair extensionist, salon owner and industry icon. Her elegant finishes and beautiful hairdressing work are her signature, and this Artificial Intelligence collection was designed to stretch her creativity and showcase an avant garde side of her editorial work.
“My inspiration was using Giger-esque-inspired designs,” Dove says of the artist H.R. Giger, one of the world’s foremost artists of fantastic realism. “I wanted to create texture that yields unusual shapes mimicking nature melded with women.”
Using Wella hair color, GHD thermal tools and Hairdreams extensions, Dove creates futuristic finishes with a beautiful twist.
