“First, talk to every client about the amazing hair-extension service you offer,” says Erin Hayden, Hairdreams master trainer. “Even if the client in your chair is not a candidate, they might know someone who is. Don’t focus on giving every client mermaid hair. Your best, most loyal extension clients are going to be the ones who wear it for thickening or volumizing. A stylist can also grow their experience doing thickenings, so when clients who are experiencing some challenging hair issues come in, the stylist is prepared.”
