Go over and beyond a classic ponytail look by adding amplified volume with the help of waves and curls. In this how-to, learn how to give your client’s next ponytail a voluminous boost with the help of Farouk’s Ellipse 3-in-1 styler.
This ultra-versatile styler features three styling options in one convenient tool. You can opt to create smooth, curly or wavy styles. Here, Ana Cantu shows you how to create a glam ponytail plus how to use the 3-in-1 styler.
GET THE LOOK:
Wrap one-inch sections of hair around the barrel of the Ellipse 3-in-1 Styler. Set the curls with Farouk Royal Treatment Ultimate Control and Comb through with your fingers.
Comb the hair into a low ponytail secured with two bobby pins and an elastic band. Smooth flyaways with more Farouk Royal Treatment Ultimate Control Hairspray.
Take a section of hair from under the ponytail and wrap around the elastic, securing with a bobby pin.
Tease the ponytail with more hairspray to add volume.
Using bobby pins, twist and secure pieces of hair at the base of the ponytail.
Fluff the hair with Royal Treatment Ultimate Control and finish with the Royal Treatment Ultimate Shine.
