Here, Robbins offers the formulas and step-by-step process she took to put together this look.

BALAYAGE FORMULA: 1 scoop Light Master & 1 scoop Light Master Freehand Additive & 1 oz. 30 Volume MATRIX Cream Developer & BOND Ultim8 Step 1

COLOR MELT:
FORMULA A: 2:1 Color Sync Clear & Color Sync Vinyls Midnight Violet & 10 Volume MATRIX Cream Developer & BOND Ultim8 Step 1
FORMULA B: 2:1 Color Sync Clear & Color Sync Vinyls Rose Copper & 10 Volume MATRIX Cream Developer & BOND Ultim8 Step 1

SECTIONING:
Create a parting from ear to ear. Secure all the hair in the back. Next, create a triangle section from the top of the crown to the recession area on both sides, secure. Secure all remaining hair on each side for control.

BALAYAGE:
Starting in nape region, take a diagonal slice; apply BALAYAGE FORMULA using a freehand technique in a “V” shape to the mid-lengths through the ends. Feather the formula up towards the scalp for a soft diffusion of color. Continue this application until all sections are completed.

PROCESS UNTIL DESIRED LIGHTNESS IS ACHIEVED OR UP TO 50 MINUTES. RINSE THOROUGHLY AND TOWEL DRY.

APPLY:
Starting in the nape, apply FORMULA A to a large triangular-shaped sub-section. Next, triangle section apply FORMULA B continue to take triangular-shaped sub-sections and alternate formulas until all sections complete.

PROCESS UP TO 20 MINUTES AT ROOM TEMPERATURE.

Rinse thoroughly, apply BOND Ultim8 Step 2 for 10 minutes then rinse. Cleanse and condition using Total Results Color Obsessed Shampoo and Conditioner. Send your client home with a BOND Ultim8 Step 3 weekly for additional nourishment at home.
