Odile Gilbert created a totally new take on fringe with her arsenal of Kérastase Paris products at the Thakoon Fall 2013 show at New York Fashion Week. The squared-off bangs were paired with casual-but-chic chignons.
GET THE LOOK:
Prep damp hair with Kérastase Spray Volumactive and Mousse Substantive to add texture.
Blow dry hair using a diffuser, scrunching the lengths as you work through the head.
Smooth hair down and back with a brush and spray Kérastase Double Force Hair Spray.
Gather hair into a ponytail at the back of the head and secure with an elastic band, weaving the lengths through the elastic to create a slightly undone chignon.
Tuck remaining ends into the elastic, pin in place and spray Double Force ControleUltime to keep chignon in place.
For a very modern and dramatic effect, apply a bang extension and cut the extension in a short, unique style that best suits the face.
Secure the extension close to the hair line and spray with more Double Force ControleUltime.
