The latest in Fave4's GoPro education series, the video is from Blohaute Founder Amanda Diedrich's perspective and features a twisted fishtail updo. For big bridal parties, time is of the essence, and this style won't suck up too much of it.

Get the Look: Fishtail Twisted Updo
STEP 1: Either backcomb roots or use a texture iron to achieve volume. Spray thoroughly with Fave4 Texture Takeover for a foundation of lift and fullness.
STEP 2: Direct hair back and bobby pin the top half of hair back right below the crown. The half-up section should be from the top of the head down to the parietal. Spray with Texture Takeover.
STEP 3: Take a 1.5- to 2-inch section on one side of the head and clip out of the way.
STEP 4: Divide remaining hair into three vertical sections. Secure the middle section into a ponytail directly beneath where you pinned the top section. Split ponytail in two and begin to twist and pin to form a bun-like shape; there's no right or wrong way to pin the bun, but keep it toward the center back of the head.
STEP 5: With remaining side sections, twist and pin randomly around bun.
STEP 6: Braid the 1.5- to 2-inch section into a fishtail. To do this, divide into two sections and grab from the outside of one section and cross over to the other. Repeat from side to side alternating all the way down. Make sure to direct your body around the head as you are braiding; the pattern will follow whatever direction you are going.
STEP 7: Starting at the bottom of the fishtail, stretch the braid by pulling at either side.
STEP 8: Wrap the fishtail around to the other side and secure with either a bobby pin or hair pin.
STEP 9: Pull at the top half of the upstyle to add more height and texture. Smooth areas with your hands as needed.
STEP 10: Spray with Fave4 Flex Reflect to tame any flyaways and to give some shine and light hold.
