This relaxed, whimsical braid is the perfect idea for an elegant or casual occasion. To achieve this look, start at the part line and begin to French braid along the forehead and then continue down the front of the hair.

Here are the complete steps:

STEP 1: Apply Pureology Root Lift and use a round brush to blow-dry hair smooth.

STEP 2: Create a deep side part. On the heavier side, section off hair from the back of part down to 1" deep at nape.

STEP 3: Starting at the part line, begin to French braid along the forehead.

STEP 4: When you reach the opposite temple, continue to braid (hold hair away from the head) but now add hair only to the front of the braid.

STEP 5: Braid to the bottom and secure with an elastic.

STEP 6: Lace remaining hair to add fullness behind the braid.
