Prep & Set: Prep damp hair with PureRelease Instant Detangle, SuperPlump Whipped Bodifying Mousse and SuperPlump Thickening Blow Dry Spray. Taking sections in a brick layered pattern, blow dry the hair using a medium vented round brush and set each section on a Velcro roller to cool. Once entire head has cooled, remove each roller individually and curl each section using a one inch curling iron, then re-set in Velcro Rollers to cool.

Step 1: Create a V shape section across the top from the recession to just below the curve of the crown in the back and then clip top section away.

Step 2: Apply equal amounts of RuleBreaker Firm Flexible Wax and CrazySmooth Extreme Shine Treatment Oil from fingertips to smooth side sections before securing into a ponytail in the center back.

Step 3: Spray horizontal sections of the ponytail with AllAround Color Protect Working Hairspray and lightly backcomb, leaving the bottom section untouched.

Step 4: Roll the ponytail up, smooth the exterior and secure to the head, expanding the sides of the chignon to cover any holes. Once you are happy with the shape of the chignon, move to the top section.

Step 5: Drop the top section and working from the back toward the front apply TextureCharge Color Protect Texture + Finishing Spray and backcomb a tight base at the root and about 2-3 inches up in each section.

Step 6: As you work towards the front, be sure to slightly over-direct your sections forward to ensure a rounded Mohawk shape.

Step 7: Smooth and shape your top section and bring the ends to the crown area.

Step 8: Create a curl just above the chignon and secure. Finishing the look using All Around Color Protect Working Hairspray for touchable hold and extreme shine.
