Arda Itez, Nationial Director of Education for Lakme USA, has seen many colorists struggle with unwanted warmth when blonding clients.  Over the years she has learned HOW TO remove the unfortunate yellow or gold that always pops up when doing a double process, adding highlights or even when Baliage-ing. "The key," says Itez, "is to apply over conditioner and mix the toner with Clear to dilute. This way it will prevent porous hair from becoming purple, gray, blue or green." Itez uses what she calls her "miracle" product, K.Blonde Toner from Lakme. "This toner creates amazing blondes, and it makes a difference in just 3 minutes."

In this short video Itez shows how she helped a male client go from dark brown to the lightest shade possible, an icy platinum blonde...all without warmth. "It's all about this secret weapon."
