Created to complement Wella Professionals’ line-up of color offerings, the launch of Illumina Color opens the door to countless radiant possibilities. The range of 20 permanent shades, that have been tested by thousands of colorists worldwide, features MicroLight technology, designed to protect the cuticle so it maintains clarity, allowing light to pass through and accentuate the hair’s natural light variations. The result is a smoother, clearer cuticle and hair that appears lit from within.
Illumina Color can be combined with Color Touch Emulsion to achieve a glossing shine, pastel toning, color refreshing, blending or to deepen the look. The result? Luminous, natural, youthful finishes with hair protection and light reflection.
When light converges with color, an entirely new creation emerges, redefining shine, texture and depth. Illumina Color accentuates natural light variations by surrounding the copper present on the hair’s cuticle.
The color uses a 1:1 mixing ratio and is compatible with all Wella Developers. Up to three levels of lift are achievable, along with 100 percent gray coverage.
