MODERN checked in on her to see what she is doing to stay safe and sane during her isolation:
“As we all feel the hardship in these moments one thing we can all reflect on is that we are not alone and as long as we stay busy and positive - even though we have every right to have our moment of despair - we must stay motivated,” Love says. “Knowing we will get through this, we will be more powerful and stronger than ever.”
To keep positive, Love continues to work on social media posts. “As the days go by I try to stay ahead and plan out my content to stay visually and emotionally inspired and to keep others inspired with me.” She begins by creating styles on herself which she posts regularly. “As much as I want to educate color and techniques, I am more focused on creating content that makes me look good which naturally makes me feel good. I’m trying to let others do the same by mimicking my looks.”
To stay fit, Love eats well and exercises. “I think it’s extremely important to stay healthy during hard times like these not only by eating healthy but working out. Don’t get me wrong, you have every right to have a cheat day here and there, but it’s important to be disciplined. The more you do it the more natural it will become.” Core work is Love’s go-to exercise which she prefers because it “allows you to solely use your own body strength and nothing else is necessary besides a mat."
She also rides her Peloton bike almost everyday. "Getting a chance to run or bike outside will help your mind, body and soul.”
To keep yourself mentally healthy, Love suggests staying connected to friends and family. “If you are alone then FaceTime someone daily. Human conversation is so important. Go outside on a walk and get fresh air. Give daily gratitude for the little things that you have now, even something like a roof over your head. Gratitude can lead you a long route to happiness and happiness is something no one can take away from us."
