The Veronica Beard Fall 2018 collection, Denim & Diamonds, is inspired by Dallas in the 1980s, a time when style was dictated by socialites and cowboys. Rhinestones sparkle on jeans, jackets, belts, and sweaters. Western details are seen in lurex tuxedos, plaid shirts, and statement outerwear. High-waisted skinny flares and silver cowboy boots complete the fall collection.
“Embracing each woman’s natural texture – straight, wavy or curly – I wanted the hair to reflect the wearability of the clothes in this collection and to celebrate the uniqueness of every woman’s hair texture,” said Kevin Hughes, Moroccanoil Artistic Director.
Get the Look – Wavy Hair:
On damp hair, use a dime size amount of Moroccanoil Treatment –or Moroccanoil Treatment Light for finer tones—to provide the perfect foundation for styling.
Spray the hair lightly with Moroccanoil Perfect Defense to protect hair from heat styling.
Apply Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to give the waves a softer, shinier appearance and eliminate frizz while maintaining the hair’s natural wave.
Diffuse the hair with Moroccanoil Professional Ceramic Hair Dryer until dry.
Use a 1.25inch curling iron to redefine any waves.
Set the whole look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong.
Get the Look – Curly Hair:
On damp hair, use a dime size amount of Moroccanoil Treatment to provide the perfect foundation for styling.
Lightly spray the hair with Moroccanoil Perfect Defense to protect hair from heat styling.
Apply Moroccanoil Curl Defining Cream throughout to activate and define curls while helping maintain the hair’s hydration.
Diffuse the hair with Moroccanoil Professional Ceramic Hair Dryer until dry and separate the curls if needed to create additional volume.
Get the Look – Straight Hair:
On damp hair, use a dime size amount of Moroccanoil Treatment –or Moroccanoil Treatment Light for finer tones—to provide the perfect foundation for styling.
Spray the hair with Moroccanoil Perfect Defense to protect hair from heat styling.
To create long-lasting body, apply Moroccanoil Thickening Lotion.
Blow dry straight with the Moroccanoil Professional Ceramic Hair Dryer to keep the hair frizz-free.
Finish the look with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium.
Place three large bobby pins close together behind the top of the ear on both sides to pin the hair back and act as a hair accessory.
Stylist tip: To keep bobby pins from sliding in the hair, spray lightly with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium before placing in the hair.
