An intricate updo starts with the right foundation. With Olivia Garden’s new Ceramic + Ion Professional Flat Iron and brushes, stylists are able to cultivate stunning finishes.
Caralee Pridemore and Sarah Malinda are bridal specialists known for their elegant updos. They both reach for the Ceramic + Ion Professional Flat Iron when looking to add texture.
“I love adding waves to my updos with the iron,” Pridemore says. “I still get a ton of texture on my upstyles, even from using a flat iron.”
Featuring high performance dual-ceramic heaters, a super-fast heat up and temperature recovery, the tool includes 11 digital temperature settings, an ergonomic thumb rest and a 30 -minute, auto turn-off safety feature.
For Malinda, the iron is a gamechanger for stressful wedding days where timing is everything.
“The iron makes my life easier,” she says. “I love that it automatically turns off and it glides through my client’s hair while leaving behind an intense shine.”
The newest brushes from Olivia Garden, which include two detanglers—one for fi ne to medium hair and one for medium to thick hair—and a styler, complement the benefits of the Ceramic + Ion Professional Flat Iron.
“I have ruined so many brushes in the past because my clients wear extensions or have thick hair, which can sometimes break the bristles,” Malinda says. “But the Olivia Garden detanglers are made for different hair types, so they hold up.”
The styler brush contains a blend of boar and nylon bristles for smooth hair and gives it a shiny fi nish. Great for styling, updos and daily care, it eliminates frizz and flyaways.
“This is the brush that makes hair look fl awless without a filter,” Pridemore says. “The cushions can be removed for cleaning, which is a huge benefit, so the actual brush won’t get ruined or discolored from the sanitation products used. I love using the style brush when I’m brushing out curls! It’s become a routine; I use it for every style now.”
