Following the successful introduction of Pivot PointFundamentals: Barbering, Pivot Point presents its latest international hairdressing trend collection: RECYCLE. The multiple men’s looks, created by talented Pivot Point Italy’s barbers and men’s stylists, give new life to classic styles while being re-purposed in an alternative manner for today’s fashion-savvy man.
Behind every Pivot Point RECYCLE hair design, specific stylistic analysis was incorporated in the creation of the look. From the innovative techniques, to the study of each model, his facial shape, lifestyle and hair color, and every detail about the individual was taken into consideration in creating the RECYCLE collection. RECYCLE supports the needs of the modern man while saluting past generations of men’s styling.
“A basic cut can always be reinterpreted,” notes hair designer Nicola Lanaro Chiola of Pivot Point Italy. “As long as we count on strong technical skills to make the recycled looks unique, it’s a marriage of form and function,” he adds. “The styles are distinctive, sophisticated and casual, as is the idea behind RECYCLE.”
Artists involved in the Pivot Point RECYCLE collection include:
Hair by Nicola Lanaro Chiola, Pivot Point Italy
Hair assistance by Antonio Lauterio for Pivot Point Italy
Makeup by Vanessa Lauterio for a2-Service
Fashion photography by Pietro Ferante for Pivot Point Italy
Art direction by Jagoda Cichon´
Fashion styling by Lea&Flo
Each of the models in the RECYCLE collection encourages stylists and barbers to get inspired and recreate with the latest techniques. The Pivot Point RECYCLE men’s program and companion Look Book include step-by-step technical workshops with notes and video, easily accessible by QR codes. Visit pivot-point.com for more information.
