Celebrity hairstylist Pasquale Caselle created Platino, a unique collection of varied looks to illuminate its beauty and splendor, using IT&LY Hairfashion color and products. Here he offers the HOW TO:
To Color:
STEP 1: Pre-lighten with IT&LY's Blondly mixed with 40 volume Oxily Developer and lift to a pale yellow.
STEP 2: After shampooing gently towel dry and mist with Plusonda.
STEP 3: Dry the hair to prep it for the toner application. Blend IT&LY's Light + Passion's Platinum Blonde with 10 volume developer and apply from roots to ends.
STEP 4: Process for 20 minutes and then shampoo and condition with Advanced Color Protection.
To style: Using a cocktail of IT&LY's Pure Fluid Experience and Pure Glaze, run through the hair to create the foundation for all the looks.
“The Curls” - Using a 1/4 inch curling iron, curl the entire head with spiral curls curled in different directions. Spray each section with Pure Eco Volumizing Spray to set the curl. After curling the entire head, take a wide tooth comb to loosen the curls. Then take a small amount of IT&LY’s Pure Water Drops and hand brush through the curls, lifting the hair at the root area. Finish with IT&LY’s Pure Definition Hairspray for hold and added shine.
“Winter Solstice” – to create this fantasy look, gather the sides and back into a tight chignon at the nape using additional Pure Water Drops for shine and ease in in smoothing. At the top and fringe area, apply IT&LY’s Pure Definition Paste and Extra Strong Gel to create the wet pin curl design. To finish, add glitter for that wintery glistening effect.
“Good-Bye Curls” – Caselle left the top and fringe area longer to allow for versatile style changes. After shampooing and conditioning with Advanced Color Protection, add another cocktail of Pure Fluid Experience and Thermoflat, and blow dry the hair with a small round brush. Create volume at the base while using the brush to serve as a hot roller giving each section a blast of warmer air followed by cool to set into place. Using a medium paddle brush, smooth the hair into soft sexy waves. To finish, spray Pure Definition Hair Spray for a light natural hold.
