LIP SHADE: ROSY-RED
Actress Lupita Nyong’o’s look is on-point for this year’s holiday soirée. Her deep, sultry cat-eye with a red lip is the perfect harmony of sophisticated and sexy,” says TIGI Talent Cosmetic Educator, Louanne Ferro.
TRY IT: Start with TIGI’s dual high-density eyeshadow in Feisty. Following the crease of the eye, use an angled brush to create a sharp point. Drag the eyeshadow under the lash line for a smoky fi nish. Use a black eyeliner pen to create the wingtip and finish with a lengthening mascara. Dust the cheekbones in a windshield-wiper motion with a terracotta shade. Add a final pop of color with TIGI’s Decadent lipstick in Luxury.
LIP SHADE: COOL PINK
“Musician Katy Perry’s look is very simple: a striking lip with a clean, semi-matte complexion and a warm, natural but defined eye and brow,” says Shawn Towne, global educator for Jane Iredale.
TRY IT: Begin by applying a bb cream and gently dust a matte finishing powder with bronzer to the outer perimeter of the face. For eyes, swipe a neutral metallic color on the lid and a rose gold shadow to the crease. As a highlighting effect, apply a white shadow to the tear duct area. Line the upper lash line with a black liner and a thick coat of black mascara to top and bottom lashes. For full, defined brows use a brow pencil and finish with a pink lipstick such as Jane Iredale’s PureMoist Lipstick in Renee.
LIP SHADE: MOODY BERRY
“The key to pulling off actress Blake Lively’s look lies in selecting eye shadows and blush in the same color family to bring harmony and allow the lips to remain the central focus of the look,” says Jasmine Dashtizad, National Trainer for Mirabella.
TRY IT: Apply Mirabella’s “Skin Tint Creme-to-Powder.” For a glow, lightly blend a pearl-colored powder to the temples, then dust a blue-based pink color to the apples of the cheeks. Apply a pink-champagne shadow to the inner corners of the eye. On the lower lid, add a shimmering rose shade and extend just beyond the crease. Line the upper lash line with a metallic graphite gray to bring for depth. Finish the look with a cranberry-red lip pencil.
LIP SHADE: CRIMSON

TRY IT: Start with a semi matte complexion. Apply a shimmery gold color like Petal Essence Eye Color Single Moon all over the lid. Make the eyes pop with a brown eyeshadow by lightly contouring and enhance the lower lash line with the same deep brown shade. Finish with a liquid liner and two coats of mascara. Then apply a soft cheek color and a bright lip in Nourish-mint Smoothing Lip Color in Poppy.
