STEP 1: On straight, blow-dried hair, apply Sway Blow Dry Styling Primer to cut dry time in half, tame frizz and add shine. Part the hair.

STEP 2: Prep hair with Fever Thermal Protectant. Using 1-inch sections, wrap hair around fi ngers into a pin curl, keeping your fi ngers slightly separated to let the curl release easily.

STEP 3: Rotate the curl toward the face, and slide hair into a Foil Pod, making sure to keep ends tucked in.

STEP 4: Close the pod, secure the tabs and heat with the Iron for 7 to 10 seconds. Let the pod cool, and continue on the rest of the hair. If foils fall near the face, clip them back.

STEP 5: Repeat in 1-inch sections until all of the hair is curled. When the pods are cool, remove.

STEP 6: Take a section of hair above the ear and twist into a rope braid.

STEP 7: Lightly pull on the pieces to create a fuller look.

STEP 8: Pin the rope braid in place on the back of the head. Repeat on the other side.

STEP 9: Wrap sections of hair around fi n-gers to create small rolls in alter-nating directions, and pin in place below the rope braids. Finish with Valor Superfine Hair Spray for an elegant look that lasts all night.

STEP 10: Add a brooch of your choice to complement the style and outfit.
