It may have seemed like a good idea at the time when US Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte decided to lighten his hair to a Level 10 blonde before the 2016 Rio Olympics, but after spending hours a day in the pool…well you can guess what happened…

His hair turned green!

This unexpected color change, has the 32-year-old swimmer making headlines in the Olympics not only for his gold medals, but because of this unintentional beauty blunder. If you check out his Twitter you can see more pictures of his slow progression from silver to greener hair every day since the opening ceremony.
